What a portfolio is
A portfolio holds your fake cash and the positions you've bought with it. Each one tracks its own value, cash balance, and profit/loss independently.
Creating one
Tap New portfolio, give it a name, and set a starting balance — quick amounts run from $1k to $100k, or type your own. Then choose:
- Public — anyone can view your holdings and returns from your profile. It's read-only to everyone but you.
- Private — only you can see it.
Running several
There's no limit. Most people keep one main portfolio and spin up others to test a specific idea — a crypto-only bet, a dividend basket, or a "what if" on a single stock.
Your default portfolio
One portfolio is marked as your default — it's the one pre-selected when you place a trade. Change it any time from the portfolio's menu.
Season portfolios
When you join a season, Alinda creates a special portfolio locked to that competition's fixed starting balance. Season portfolios are always public and can't be deleted while the season runs. More in Seasons and the leaderboard.
