Finding something to trade
Use search to look up any stock or crypto by name or ticker. Open a result to see its price, a chart, and Buy / Sell.
Placing a buy
- Open a ticker and tap Buy.
- Enter an amount — switch between dollars and shares. Fractional shares are supported, so $50 of a $900 stock is fine.
- Choose which portfolio to buy from.
- Review and confirm.
Your average cost updates automatically when you buy more of something you already hold.
Selling
Tap Sell on a holding, enter dollars or shares, and confirm. Your realized profit or loss — the difference between your average cost and the sale price — is recorded on the trade.
Prices and market data
Prices track real markets. Crypto prices update around the clock; stock prices update during their market's trading hours. Outside those hours you can still buy and sell — the trade uses the most recent available price, which is marked as such.
It's paper money — you can't lose anything real, so experiment freely.
